Base is made of Curly Maple wood.  Shells and sand (from St. Augustine Beach in Florida) are embedded into the wood.  Clear and colored epoxy encapsulates the entire surface of the board for a spectacular smooth finish.  Rubber feet on the bottom for a very solid feel.  Long "brushed nickel" handles for easy serving from kitchen to party.  Surface is food safe so feel free to lay your meats, cheeses, crackers or whatever right on the board.  Cleans up with just a damp wipe.  About 25 inches long, 9 inches wide and about an inch thick.

Each piece is individually made so graining of the wood and colorations will vary somewhat.
